Are you a Toddler Teacher or a parent of a toddler? Join us for Supporting Independence & Self-Reliance in Toddlers

We look forward to having you in-person on campus for this professional development opportunity. For the health and safety of all, participants will need to arrive wearing a mask and remain socially distant during the workshop.

This workshop will focus on:

  • Serving, and nourishing, the child’s natural inclination to do things for themself.
  • With a focus on self-care, care of the environments and transitional routine activities, we will tap into this sensitive and critical period of development.
  • Learn many tips and tricks to channel all that amazing toddler “ME DO IT” energy!
  • With time for hands-on interaction, approaches to creating and guiding these types of activities will also be explored.

Presented by: Marcia Hubelbank

~Marcia has been working with and learning from young children for over 35 years. Her practice is dedicated to furthering the understanding of child development; exploring the parent/child relationship; and infant-toddler teacher training through the Montessori philosophy, and other best practices.
